‘Two expert craftsmen talk about the power of reconnecting with nature and keeping alive the traditional crafts of the countryside. Devon thatcher Tom Allan, and Master Woodworker Callum Robinson talk about their respective trades and why they left the commercial world for a life working with their hands. Allan’s memoir On The Roof, and Robinson’s, Ingrained, are both love letters to their respective crafts, and an exploration of the beauty of the natural environment in an ever-changing world.’
